Reward-based dog behaviour support in West Dunbartonshire
At All Wagged Out, I help dogs and their humans feel calmer, more confident, and better understood.
I’m Alison, an IMDT-qualified dog trainer and behaviour specialist with an Advanced Diploma in Applied animal Behaviour. I specialise in reward-based training and behaviour support for real life — from puppies just getting started, to dogs who find the world overwhelming and react because they’re struggling to cope.
If your dog is reactive on walks, easily over-aroused, anxious, or finding everyday situations hard — and you’re feeling stuck or unsure what to do next — you’re in the right place.
I work with clients across West Dunbartonshire, including Dumbarton, Balloch, Clydebank, Erskine and Helensburgh, offering kind, practical support that leads to real, lasting behaviour change.

How I can help

Calm & Confident Behaviour Support
Structured behaviour packages for dogs struggling with reactivity, stress, anxiety, over-arousal and big emotions.
This work focuses on understanding why behaviour is happening and helping your dog feel safer, not just “behave better”.

Real-World Life Skills Training
Reward-based training for everyday life — including recall, loose lead walking, calm focus and settling — tailored to you, your dog, and your environment.

Puppy Support
Early training and behaviour guidance to build confidence, prevent future problems, and help you start off on the right foot.

Scent-Based Activities
Mantrailing, trail hunt and scent detection, which are especially well suited to reactive or sensitive dogs and provide powerful enrichment alongside behaviour work.

My approach
My work is reward-based, ethical and punishment-free.
No harsh tools. No outdated methods. No pressure to “control” your dog.
I’m an IMDT Qualified Trainer, hold an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management, and have completed specialist study in learning theory, behaviour assessment, reactivity, puppy development and applied ethology.
I’ve worked professionally with dogs since 2012, and I also understand behaviour struggles from the inside. Living with dogs who need extra support shapes how I work — calm, realistic, and without judgement.
